OPI Start-to-finish Base Coat, Top Coat and Nail Strengthener, 0.5-Fluid Ounce

My nail technician trains others in OPI products and uses them exclusively on my nails. I normally get a french manicure (gel) on my nails with OPI products once every 4 or 5 weeks. Just recently I started painting my own nails in between my manicures and have been getting amazing results with the Start-to-Finish.

Using it as a base coat assures that the color doesn't bleed into the edges of my manicure (for when I want to go back to just the white tips) and also helps the color adhere well. My technician did tell me that this base coat does adhere better to gel nails than bare ones, if that helps. She also highly recommended that I do just three swipes (center, and each edge) with each coat. Over-painting with each coat can cause some of the problems people have with chipping.

This start-to-finish polish is great! It works well as a top coat and a base coat, and my only complaint is that I used it up too quickly, since it was doing double duty. Item arrived promptly and in perfect condition.

When I first saw this product on amazon, I thought it was three separate bottles. But low and behold it's three in one! It makes for beautiful shine and protection for natural nails and nail polish. I tried to use the straightener everyday. At first it worked great, but then, when I started using it every few days, my nails started peeling! So now I just use it for my weekly manicure. However, I would definitely reccomend as a base/top coat.
