Since my nails break & split a lot, I have had several nail salons recommend this product. I used acryllic nails for 15 years but got tired of them, so I thought this would be perfect. I have tried it several different times... each time using it in a new way for the "correct" results. I have paid everything from $15 in a salon to $8 at Amazon. From my own personal experience, I would rate it as useless. I guess I assumed, as we all do from time to time, that if something costs a lot it must be better than other products like it. "Nail Envy" is not. In fact, after this last siege of using it, my nails were worse than ever.

This stuff is great! It worked within 2 days for growth and strength of my nails. I am impressed with it. Highly recommend if your nails are weak or if you just got artificial nails removed.

OPI Maintenance is for people who already have strong nails, and want them to stay that way. I use OPI Maintenance Nail Envy as my base coat (two layers), followed by Sally Hansen's Hard As Wraps in Clear, and Seche Vite fast dry top coat on top. Maintenance Nail Envy has the great Pro-Wide brush that goes on in smooth, very thin layers. The thinner the layer of polish, the quicker it dries. You can use Maintenance Nail Envy alone or as a base coat, whichever suits you. Do be aware that although the contents of the bottle look light pink, and the polish goes on as light pink, it dries completely clearly. Very highly recommended.
