Perfect for making a statement that matters, these polishes do not wear as long as normal polishes.  The formula is not conducive to use with a base coat, so we suggest wearing it alone.  The matte finish requires very few coats, so it's quick and easy and very stylish!

Summary: Matte is terrible 2010-02-28
Comment: I like the idea of matte shades but it doesn't work. The matte makes your hands look older. I tried it on my toes to see if it would be better further from my eyes, but still no luck. It's just ugly. And non-lasting. But even if you want to put on a topcoat (which I also tried), the matte + topcoat creates a lot of streaks + still looks matte.

I'm going to try and give this nail polish away.

Comment: The polish does look excellent, but the constant rubbing with other surfaces will cause the polish to develop a slight shine. Also, unless you have acrylic nails, the polish will chip quickly. I used it on my toes and the polish chipped within 3 to 4 days.

Summary: Long lasting matte 2009-10-25
Comment: I love this product. After reading the negative reviews nd how it is more suited to teenagers, I completely disagree. I am far from a teenager and this has lasted longer than any polish I've used before. There has been absolutely no chipping because i also used a matte topcoat. I highly recommend this product and particularly this "now" color. In fact I was watching "Dancing with the Stars" and noticed Kelly Osborne and other celebrities with this shade. It's good to know that even without a glam squad I can keep up with the latest trends...

Summary: disappointed 2009-10-01
Comment: I got the OPI You Dont Know Jacques brown color; very excited to get it. The problem: it didn't look good- it kinda made my hands look older! It chipped quickly as well. I'm now afraid to try the white, which I think may be the only shade that looks good matte.. If anyone's tried the white I'd be curious to know if they did any better with it.

They should come up w/ a matte topcoat for these!

Comment: Unfortunately this polish barely made it 24hrs without chipping. Majorly disappointing considering how much I love the color and look of the matte finish. It did dry incredibly fast, aka appx. 30 seconds after I painted. So it is great for a literally last minute job. That's where the extra star came in.
