I've been a professional cosmetologist/nail tech/instructor for more than 14 years, and this is by far the coolest, funnest most exciting nail product I've seen introduced during my career! It is completely different from anything you'll try, and I love that you can use it over ANY color you choose (though lighter, brighter colors look best!) I prefer using dark colors on the toes, and this provides a fresh, sophisticated and complicated-looking take on dark polish. It's super-easy and I have no complaints at all! I've noticed the cracking works best if you let the underneath color dry completely first, AND don't be stingy with the black shatter product- if you use it a little thicker, the cracking seems to 'shatter' better. LOVE IT!

My daughters saw Shatter in their Seventeen magazine the week before we were celebrating a birthday with a spa party. They had to have this for the manicures. I refused to pay the inflated internet prices and found it at Dillards, JCPenneys, and tons of other places for only $8.50. It was a hit. I have it on now with a silver polish underneath. Cute for girls of all ages.

Great nail item, great effects. If you like a unique manicure, this product is a must have. Applied over fully dry nail lacquer, it shrinks, hence the shatter effect. Quite lovely.
