This polish is very thin and translucent, unlike most of OPI's other shatters.

It's a lovely color, very bright and metallic with hints of glitter and shine. But regardless of how pretty it is, it doesn't do what it is supposed to do. It just doesn't look good as a shatter. For one thing, since it is more translucent than most OPI polishes it goes on thin. Shatter polishes are to be applied in one quick coat to get the desired effect. So I'm sure you can see the problem here! If you apply more than one coat to reach a good level of coverage, it won't crack well and it will look chunky and messy. But if you only apply one coat you can hardly see more than the suggestion of a gold shimmer. The crackle gets totally lost. Also, even when applied lightly it has a really undesirable chunkiness when it begins to crack, probably due to the metal flacks in it pulling up a bit and not laying flat as they should. Love the gold especially for the holidays and I find that it shatters well, I am very pleased with my purchase. The item also came very fast and in great condition. Would definitely buy in every color.

Doesn't shatter. money wasted. it looks like a sloppy glitter polish applied by a little kid. really bad. expected more from opi.
