Essie Shine Of The Times 8301 Nail Polish

I purchased 3 different colors of Essie luxeffects. The first I will review is "As gold as it gets". This polish leaves a very subtle gold sheen alone or over your favorite color polish. I really like it. I was worried that it might be too sparkly but that is not the case. I can wear this all year round, not just at the holidays? My personal favorite of the luxeffects. 5 stars

Second color is "shine of the times". This is also a subtle sheen but has some pinkish red highlights depending on the way the light hits it. I like this one as well. 5 stars

Third color is "a cut above" this one is essentiallya bottle full of large pieces of pink glitter suspended in clear polish. The glitter is large, does not cover evenly but clumps on the nail giving the appearance of something stuck to your nail like you did not wash your hands. The glitter is rough and catches on clothing, you must apply generous top coats to prevent ruining fabrics. 1 star

This polish is a great top coat!!! It was so easy to apply unlike The Studio M Covered in Dimonds.

One of my very favorite polishes. Looks great over darker shades. When paired with dark blue it looks like a peacock's tail. Has a lot of glitter per application.
