DuWop Cosmetics Lip Venom Lip Plumping Balm -- Moon Venom

Moon Venom has the same formula as original Lip Venom, but is infused with stunning opalescent shimmer. Once applied, Moon Venom reflects the light, giving lips extra sheen for the fullest, flashiest pout. The secret behind Moon Venom is a blend of essential oils, which include cinnamon, wintergreen and ginger, that cause the blood to rush to the surface of the lips, flushing and swelling them slightly. The gloss also includes jojoba and avocado oils that moisturize and give lips intense shine. You end up with a shimmering, pearly pout with a beautiful iridescent finish.

I bought this hoping for some lip enhancement. It's too pricey for what it does or should I say doesn't do! It tastes delicious, like blackberries and plums. However, it only filled in a couple of lines on the lower lip and MAYBE plumped them about 5-10 percent more than normal. The bottle is extremely small for the price. I guess that's why I gave it a 3 star rating. Not horrible, tastes wonderful and leaves a pretty shine that lasts awhile. Just doesn't live up to the lip plumper part of the description!

Tastes great, like berries, very shiny, too. BUT if you're looking for a plumper pout, this is NOT the one for you. It tingles and numbs but that's it. MAYBE a tiny bit larger, say .5%! Definately too much money and no delivery!

I personally do not think this gloss has much of a plumping effect at all. Additionally, the product is ridiculously small (maybe one-fourth the size of a regular tube of gloss) and not at all worth the hefty $17 price tag. It's a shame because the actual gloss is really pretty, non-sticky, and relatively long-lasting. Still, definitely not worth the price.
