Creative CND Shellac UV Gel Gotcha Color Coat

The quality is perfect, but the color in real life is not what you see on the screen. In real life I'd call it "pink carnation or cotton candy" in color. A bit more garish than I was expecting. La Belle (seller) reports no exchanges, but say they will refund. It remains to be seen how easy this return will be as Amazon requires working directly w/ La Belle on this. I'm a bit disappointed.

Over the past several weeks I have purchased most of the CND shellac colors for my own use at home. I was looking for a tasteful, creamy light pink color,and I thought the Gotcha color fit the bill, based on the photograph on amazon.com. The color is actually what I would call a bubblegum pink, which is not a color anyone should wear who is beyond the age of 12, in my opinion. I love the CND shellac system, but this is my least favorite color so far. I hope they come out with a color that looks like the one shown. (PS, I'm Richard's wife writing the review, not Richard!)

I layered Gotcha with CND's Iced Coral shellac color and it is absolutely gorgeous. If you buy all of the supplies, shellac can definitely be done at home. My at home manicure looks way better than the shellac manicure I received at the salon.
