This is a really nice color..the tiny metallic particles in it really pop when you are outside in the sun!! My sister couldn't wait for my order to come in so I could try it on her. She absolutely loves her nails now. (I can find only one problem with this new Shellac nail polish---it lasts too long. You realize I'm joking now, right? For me, the manicure lasts up to four weeks and I am anxious to try another color way before the grow-out starts showing. I thought this shade would have a lot more 'frosted' appearance, but it has just the right amount of glitz and glitter. I think the word 'wine' comes to mind when describing the color. So far, I have loved every shade I have tried. Next comes Fedora!

Applied Easily and True to Color,

The color is pretty true to the bottle, which was good since I had trouble finding good swatches for this color online. The first coat went on kind of pink, but once I applied the second coat it got much darker and more red. I applied three coats, just to make it a little darker, but I could have gotten away with just two. I was trying to match my Sally Hansen Brilliant Bourdeaux nail polish. This color came pretty close, but is slightly more pink, whereas the Brilliant Bourdeaux is more of a blood red. In the sun, you can also see a lot of shimmer in the color. It applied easily and finished smooth and shiny. I definitely love this color for fall and winter. The 0.25ml bottle is smaller than most nail polish bottles, but you apply such thin coats that I can't imagine running out of it anytime soon. Highly recommend this color!
