5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE BUTTER!, October 29, 2010

This review is from: Butter London Yummy Mummy, .4 Ounce (Misc.)
I had been eying this stuff for a while. At $14 (not including tax) a pop for only .4 fluid ounces, it is NOT cheap nail polish. But ladies, if you ever want to splurge on a nail color, THIS STUFF IS WORTH IT! Not only are the colors fashionable and unique (REALLY), but I can tell they're 3-free from the moment I put on the first coat. The smell is not as strong. Also, when I remove the polish, my nails don't feel dry and brittle. I can't say that this polish makes your nails MORE healthy, but they definitely seem to relieve nails from typical polish damage. WORTH IT. And have I mentioned the colors? I have three: Chimney Sweep, Marrow, and Yummy Mummy. I've only worn Chimney Sweep and Marrow, but I love them both. Fashionable but classy. Nothing too over the top that is on the edge of ridiculous. Yummy Mummy is a neutral. I'm sure I'll love it. So, if you've got some money to spare, find your favorite Butter color and BUY it! You'll fall in love . . . and you'll find yourself...Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Goes on like Buttah!, December 31, 2010

This review is from: Butter London Big Smoke, 0.4 Ounce (Misc.)
I bought about 7 of these polishes for my granddaughters for Christmas. I chose this brand mainly because they are free of several toxic chemicals. When I received them. the colors were so beautiful I gave one set early so we could try them. First off they flow on, and cover really well with the first coat. They have a great applicator brush. The black is gorgeous. You would think black is black, but it is not. This black is deep, but not too shiny. One coat covered totally and had depth. Dried quick, then the second coat dries hard. These polishes are amazing. The chipping is minimal after 4 days. There is not the odor, or the chemicals to ruin the nails. The color Tramp Stamp is the most unusual brown. I can guarantee you will find this color no where else. It is a deep mocha, but has a slight raisin cast to it. One of my favorites is The Full Monty, it is a metalic gold. But not the glittery gold most are. It is gorgeous. I used it on my toes with gold rhinestones on the...Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Henley Regatta is beautiful as a topcoat, April 22, 2011

This review is from: Butter London Henley Regatta, .4 Ounce (Misc.)
Many of the Butter nail polish colours are best with another colour. On its own, Henley Regatta is a clear polish with blue sparkles so it requires several coats. But when I put on Artful Dodger first and then cover it with Henley Regatta, it becomes a sparkly blue. Butter makes lovely colours and I recommend them. I don't think it chips more or less than other polishes.
