Summary: ROYAL purple! 2010-03-12
Comment: this is a GORGEOUS purple! the bottle is super cute! with the pop up cap and then the twistie top. When indoor, the purple is an elegant eggplant, but when out in the SUN it is FUN FUN FUN! shimmer. The color is VERY TRUE to real life. as for application, it was okay. The first time I put it on it was gloopy and streaky, i couldn't get a nice smooth coat, but it turn out that i had too little on the brush to begin with. One coat is enough for full coverage. I have the polish on my toes for about 5 days now and aside from a lil wear (NOT chip) on the tips (that's barely NOTICEABLE) the color sticks! and this is WITHOUT topcoat.

Summary: brave color 2010-02-28
Comment: This color matches British racing green cars! It was a cool experiment. I wouldn't use it again as it stained my toes green really badly after I took it off. But if you are always painting your toes, I am sure you can avoid feeling like Shrek.

Summary: Wonderful coverage & durable! 2009-11-25
Comment: Bought from a local boutique that was the only vendor of butter London in the area, I was really eager to try this polish out! The variety of edgy, demure and fun colors made it very hard for me to settle on my first butter London lacquer purchase, but I decided to go with Yummy Mummy as it supposedly flatters most any skin tone! And it really is fabulous-- it goes on smooth, doesn't goop up around the bottle mouth, dries quickly and so smoothly. It also lasts quite a while (quite a while I mean at least 2 days, I'm hands on at the office and with conventional polish, it comes off in spots, looking like trash immediately) with just 2 coats, no nail-tip dents or dings yet! A great buy for the quality and prestige. Be sure to google discount codes for promotions when purchasing online from the butter London website, I've just placed an order with 30% off!? It's definitely worth a try for perfect Christmas gifts.

Summary: A neutral w/personality 2009-03-10
Comment: I'm not usually one for neutral nail colors, but Aston has just enough sparkle and zip! It wore off very quickly when I didn't use a base coat (wonder if it's my nails or just how rough I am on them?!) Butter London is great!!

Summary: A shimmering dark grey 2009-02-26
Comment: I'm not ordinarily a fan of dark polishes, but Chimney Sweep is a lovely color. In some lights it has a green hue, in others it looks somewhat blue. I love Butter London!!
